My bike's in for a big service next week, I asked how much to change the TPI thingies at the same time - £236 !!!!! I picked myself up and left. I seem to remember a description somethwhere on the web of how to stop the annoying flashing warnign blocking out everything else on tehs cree-might have been teh American COncourse site-anyone got any ideas please? Only flashing on cold mornings for the last couple of years but there will come a time......

If you press both black buttons down ( the trip ones ) it stops the flashing but you end up with a red light on the dash and you have to repeat every time you start.

While the annoying display is on. Hold down the top button between the clocks and then press the lower button. This removes the display which then shows all other functions as normal. While in this mode the red warning / idiot lamp stays on. It all starts afresh when ignition is switched off.

Shows all other functions as normal *except* the Range function

Thanks very much for the answers, looks like quite a good trick on behalf of Kawasak.
