Maybe I should buy a spare gtr just in case.  :mfr_lol:

One can never have too many.

Spoke to a mate at the NEC who works in conjunction with Kawasaki, he asked what they were doing about a replacement for the GTR, they said they couldn't comment at the moment.
XJ600, VFR800, CBR1100, Varadero1000, CBR1100, STX1300, GTR1400 ?

Kawasaki said the same thing for years regarding the ZZR1100D, I just hope that the GTR's replacement has more imagination and passion put into it than the ZZR's as the ZZR1200 was just an overbored motor and a body kit.

Whatever comes out will be a compromise.  It always has been this way.  They look at the market (which they are losing to Yamaha and BMW (pains me to say the words which should not be mentioned)) and decide where to place it, what do dads to put into it, and how much to charge.   This is all done using scientific methods such as Saki and Geisha Girls.  It's what they did with the GTR 1400 and the C14 and look how long they've been out.

Truthfully I'm debating on whether to stay on two wheels or go to open 4 wheels.  I haven't rode in awhile but went out and did close to 350 miles this past Saturday on mine.  I just love it when I'm on it.  It's the getting on it that's the difficulty.  All the gear takes time, I've got to plan for it and the weather is starting to be an inhibitor.  I can deal with cold, can't deal with the heat in the summer....

At any rate, depending on what Kwackers comes out with may determine what I'm going to do in the future.  There are no other brands as far as I'm concerned.  It's a Kwacker or nothing.

+1 - Had lots of other marques for a blast with the boys, but had nothing else only Kawasaki for the last 32 years as my main bike.

I understand exactly what you are saying Zed, I'm the same and I've had lots of Kwaks including a 'few'triple two strokes in my time.

But, when the time arrives for me to change I will have to make a decision based on my needs and abilities and those facts may drive me towards something different.......who knows......... time will tell...my head may rule my heart

I had a Kwackers Voyager 12 (before the C14) and my wife referred to it as an old man's bike...

Hell yeah O.C   :mfr_lol:
A Granny Skoota is for the ageing infirm who whizz up and down paths on their 3 or 4 wheeled elekky skoota with gay abandon or senile confusion.
Quite often spotted in ASDA or other available supermarkets. :scooter:
