Completed a few Blood runs now, 3 today in monsoon conditions. However that's not the point.
My point is I'm really impressed with the new (To me) Mitchelin PR4's, excellent grip and feel really good in the wet, very stable, like 'em.
XJ600, VFR800, CBR1100, Varadero1000, CBR1100, STX1300, GTR1400 ?

O.C.

they are very good

They are seriously the best hoop wook has ever used in 40 odd years..
They grip like a Yorkshire man with a fiver  :mfr_lol:

And the worst I have had in over 40 years....

Had PRs for years now brilliant tyre inspires confidence, TBH haven't fitted anything else to the GTRs so i can't compare any other manufacturers. i definitely wouldn't change now at any price.
get a grip and deal with it

I agree, however they were on my vfr800
We rode in some awful conditions in France for about 5 days, I've never had a tyre that gave me so much confidence wet and dry and we were two up
Even when home riding solo you could nail them and they just took it in their stride
The only downside I encountered was un-even wear, but to me personally grip and safety outweigh mileage

More punctures on Prd then any other tyres in my riding career.

Funnily enough i got a screw in the rear last weekend but that was the first time i can remember in a PR.

Well I hope I don't jinx my new set of PR4 GT's which are being fitted next week but in the three previous sets I have been more than impressed with both the performance and wear rate of them, as for the wet I have never had better.

Wait for the post which says I need one plugged now 😀
Ducati owner now but I used to have a Black one, the fastest version.
Previous, Sprint ST (2), VFR 800, Fireblade's (4) SP1, VTR1000, GPZ900, CB250, BSA Bantam D14/4, Suzuki TS100, SX200.

Don't worry Alan you will be fine. What could possibly go wrong? Since transferring my loyalty to Angel gts I have had no punctures. Now I've done it....... I got through 3 new rear Michelin in 1000 miles. Could not afford it.

So what happend prd to make you hate a tyre that everyone else loves. Did you drop the bike or have a near one?  I find em so much better than past battlax n contimo n avons. They just seem so sticky. However duration time is yet to b seen so watch this space for that one i guess🙄

Ah was ahead of myself there prd. Just read the puncture post you put in. Ye thats bad luck but maybe the areas your riding in are very industrial commercial areas by that i mean the roads see a lot of use from builders and commercial  drivers prone to let screws n nails bounce off the back of there half trucks. You know the set up eh. The times ive seen nails n screws left on the roads right where i know building has taken place. Very annoying.

On all three occasions was not in built up areas, or near construction sites. Just bad luck I guess but puts you off as they are expensive
As I say no probs with angels on same roads. Tempting fate I know..  If product fails me I don't keep buying it. Same attitude to BMW. Having said that glad you guys enjoying them. I liked the grip but in my case they kep gripping stuff I did not want to grip!
