I would suggest just replace the battery.. far cheaper.

Hello

Yes I saw that solution. But How do I get the tyre out for 1h to do the repair?

I don't have a garage so if I go to a tyre shop I won't be able to leave the bike there for a couple of hours just to do this mod...

-> Motax back wheel cover
-> Phillips H4 Xenon light
-> 2 motorcycles speakers+amplifier+remote
-> Integrated Hugel GPS+MP3 player in the ''glove box''
-> Kawasaki Top Case
-> Cee Baleys Screen
-> Akrapovich Silencer

Do you know any mobile tyre fitters in your area? They will take the tyre off for you at your home address then replace it

badaboum

That is indeed a proper solution.

I am going to wait for both sensors to fails to do them at the same time

I haven't found a proper Tutorial. Do you have one?

Thanks

It's not difficult at all and I've done both of mine..  Both with scheduled tyre (I'm trying) changes.

Ok so the only solution is to go to the dealer, sign a check for 300€ and have a sealed solution again?????

This is realy crappy and not the way the Japanese bike maker usually works...

Crappp..

Actually, no. You will get the new unit with replaceable battery so you can change it again in 3 years  :grin:

Is there a way to delete the "Low pressure warning" from the display. My first ride this year and I had it all the time, so now I know the battery is low. I don´t need to be reminded all the time. It was +8C so it ought not be the temperature. Mine is an -08 if it helps.

You will be very lucky, as they are not made anymore.....once they are gone, they are gone.

One, you could wait for the batteries to completely die and the warning will go away..  However, they can linger for quite a while...years in fact.  Two, dismount both tires, remove the batteries from the sensors, install the sensors back or just put in a new valve stem (8mm), and mount the tires back.  Both accomplish the same thing.

the tyre can be opened up by using 2 g clamps and a small wooden wedges enough to get the tps out, with the tyre still on the bike , some pics on the site somewhere

I didn't have a smarty phone 35 years ago either.  I kinda like it.  I like DVRs, satellite TV, computers, all the stuff we have now.  Didn't have that 35 years ago either.  I like the sensors.  I even like KIPASS.  I don't miss points in cars or drum brakes.  I like my hybrid electric car.  Didn't have that 35 years ago.

They did have Daleks way past 35 years ago.  Still have them today.  I've actually grown to like them.  Wish I had one.
