Personally on the pr4s......awesome, until they start chopping badly on the edges due to the amount of cuts in them, didn't notice any difference in handling until they started squaring off.
The PR3s are cheaper and I would stick with those if your happy....not much in it really, handling wise, both good.

Solid as a rock in wet weather.

£280 is what Jon quoted me for a set of PR3's balanced & fitted so you did ok there Pross

Thanks debs.

Chemix tyres is about a mile from me and the lad there Nigel is spot on with the bikes being a rider himself.
I've had various tyres for various bikes all fitted by them and they are good price wise and normally they have got them in a couple of hours.

Cleaned all the squished Love Bugs off the front of the bike.  Do you have love bugs in the UK?  They are black with orange heads and are normally attached in a rear to rear connection, so you get a two for one mess all over the bike every fall, here in Texas.

Changed the filter in the fuel pump.  Thanks to Asif for the excellent write up.  Only had to fit it and take it apart twice.  Left out an o-ring and then the fuel level thingy wasn't fitted correctly.  Bloody bear to pry it apart and getting the pump mated with the filter was no easy task.  Very tight fit.  I now have a spare fuel pump with a clean filter.  Will post pics of what I found in a bit.   They aren't the most focused of pictures but you get the point.  The housing was full of crap but it's doing it's job and keeping it out of the injectors.

After 18 months of doing little trips >50 miles, I had to do a trip to Peterborough and back yesterday....

456 miles there and back across North Yorkshire and down the A1......

After 4 and half years of ownership (over 6 years of GTR Ownership), 1 minor accident, 53600 miles, numerous sets of brake pads, tyres, brake fluid, oil changes, filters, bulbs.......

Yes sometimes she feels a little heavy when I throw her around, and the throttle feels a little snatchy (more so since learning what throttle control really is)....  But she might be brown to some people, but to me she's magnesium grey with a little red, the fob only works for a week when I replace the battery....  But you know what!   I still LOVE her and shes still a great bike!

Blimey Neil, ever considered a job with mills and boon? You just forgot the big kiss at the end! Hehe

Rode it!

Not touched in 4 weeks so seeing a sunny day I rode to the Raven Café at Whitchurch (about 45 miles), had breakfast and came home.

Enjoyed the roads and the bike :-) and then cut the grass!

Shaggy...

I've not heard about Mills and Boon since I was a kid....   Mother always had one at the side of her bed for nighttime reading, perhaps it got her in the mood!

In most cases the only thing you ever hear on Forums, is how bad things are, or this problem, or that problem.....  Just trying to break up the bad stuff!  :-)

As they say, if you park your bike and walk away without looking back!  You bought the wrong bike!

125 miles round Suffolk's roads/lanes in the pouring rain. Bike hosed down aftwards to get all the silt/sand off it.

Took a short ride in the 73 degree weather.  Saw around a dozen other bikes out, but no other Concours/1400's.  Great day...
