Yes indeed we have have returned from glorious France... near Clermont to be precise... pics and the full blurb to follow  :gunsmilie:

Some interesting points on the GTR...well for me anyway  :mfr_lol:.... MPG between 54 and 62!!! on long runs in full Eco mode.. bloody superb, dispite me Hooning now and again....

My buttocks.... both of them.. find the the Kawasaki gel seat to be a fookin god send.... buy one!!

The front brakes are still shite.... in fact beyond shite.... I had brake fade, shudder and some horrendous noises coming from the pads, so it will be back in to the dealers and then I'm gonna sell it... I love the bike to bits but its a touring bike, and I can't be doing with all this ... tis a shame but I have lost all confidence in the bikes ability to stop properly.

Smartys VFR 1200 was faultless and she found it really comfy...... oh the MPG and tank range issuses as raised by the UK bike press... utter  :shit: if they'd run it properly they would have gotten 160 to 170 to the tank before the reseve countdown came on... on long runs Smarty was getting 48 to 50 mpg (seems that it has an eco fuel map it switches too) and 40 to 45 mpg on the twistys.... not that i'll be getting one mind you... matching bikes....... yuk!  :mfr_lol:

Tis nice to be aware but always good to home safe..  :gunsmilie:
She is like the Bumblebee, she should not fly....... and yet she does!
