She is like the Bumblebee, she should not fly....... and yet she does!

Can't say I have noticed any difference in performance with any petrol, or perhaps I just don't go fast enough.

SirToU

Tbh, it makes itself known, by low speed, not high speed.....

My Varadero had issues with higher octane fuel but the GTR is fine

I always try to use Shell fuel.  Use the 95RON, not the 97 Super
Four is fun.  Six is sex.

No probs here. I sometimes treat the GTR to a fill of that high octane stuff

Can't say I've noticed a difference.  For me the variation in economy comes from my driving style rather than the fuel.  With a little over 8 weeks of GTR ownership i am definitely still in enjoyment mode rather than economy mode. Mind you in my car I always tried to use shell as consistently got better fuel economy - sometimes as good as 18 mpg!!  Beautiful car, 1988 Mercedes S500 SEL, 5 litres of V8 fun but now surpassed by 1.4 litres of grinning!!

Anyone want to buy a second hand Merc?

Kwikasfuki

S500 Merc? My cousin did have one of those. Awesome cars.

Morrisons Unleaded - she seems to run just fine on the stuff.
I try to keep away from E10, though.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

Ditto, Morrissons or Asda, as long as it starts when I push the button.
