Take 2! I'm going to have another stab at this tomorrow, or today as it is now. Weather is supposed to be good out on the east coast. Oh and my Dad's asked me to pick him up a crab on my travels, should be interesting.  ::)
suppose I've been dam lucky! never pick up any crabs on any of my travels ;D
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff

I for one will still be sitting on the bike, in a warm garage, making vroom noises untill spring! :P

I dont go as far as the vroom noises  but I simply have a peep and smile at the prospect of the fun to come in springtime!

Today, Saturday has been ok ... fresh and clear with the wind dropping a lot so ideal to get out ( I didn't ! ) ... my neighbour has been out all day on his GSA and had a great time .... me ? doing family stuff but managed a bit of wiping and waxing to get the bike looking nice for work next week.  :)

Well I DID get out today and managed to get out to Whitby and then Bridlington where I picked up the aforementioned crab, well actually I got two, which were then swiftly conveyed back homewards in a pannier that now smells a bit fishy.

On route I called in to Seaways at Fridaythorpe which is one of Winston's favourite bike haunts. Very quiet there today despite the dry weather.

That was about it, the ZZR and the Repsol I bumped into again in Whitby a short while later.

I popped down to the harbour and then up to the Abbey, quite busy in Whitby for January and as usual nowhere to park.

Finally drifted home with my crab's late afternoon as the temperature sarted to plummet. Heated grips did their job as always but I wished I was wearing a heated vest as so many of you have. All in all though, I needed the diversion and I had a great time. Just need to give the bike a decent wash now.  ;D

PONCE indeed ! Mr Wolf ... I like it, and your pictures of course  ;D ;D

Whitby Abbey. Not seen that place since I was a wee lad on a school trip. I think I'm going to have a ride over there. My old geography teacher, Mr Dennison, had a bench named in his honour next to the whalebone.

Took my bike out yesterday for the first time after three weeks. I just got used to the car over the Xmas period, but now that everyone is back at work, traffic on the road will be a bitch tomorrow. The gear sensor seems to have gone. From neutral went to 4th and stayed there for a while. Eventually started to work properly after about 30 mins of riding, but I shall be making a warranty claim.

On a positive note, at least the days are getting longer ...

Its nearly out of warranty this March. After that I hope its good for another 50k.

Was thinking of buying a new one. Plan now is to buy a new house instead so can't justify a new bike.

Thats a coincidence.... mine too.
I popped across the road from my office into Kwaka uk headquarters and had a chat with them before i bought the gtr, they said I could take out the warrantly ext direct with them in March if I wanted to (as I didn't get the bike via a kwaka dealer). Be interesting to see if they stick to that come March? Completly off topic I know, but do you guys extend the warrantly - or just keep yr fingers crossed?
I came, I saw, I rode off....
