Pheasant's, particularly young ones would beat sheep hands down
You don't ever want to find the road ahead blocked by a flock young pheasants - you just have to sit there and wait for them to run round round round & round in circles before disappearing back into the hedgerow.

Yes Steve pheasants are really stupid, I also agree with you Gerd about sheep, but you both must know there is another creature out there far more stupid than either of those, and they are scattered the length and breadth of the land, oh yes my friends the car driver must rank far more dangerous to us motorcyclists than any dumb animal, I can normally guess what a bird or a sheep will do, but I really haven't got a clue what most car drivers are going to come up with next. ::)        Nice to meet you Gerd we must get together soon for a ride out, maybe after your holiday as I'm sure you will have lots of tales to tell.    Enjoy    cheers Geoff ;D
What would you rather be   or a wasp?

OK - pheasants do have smaller brains and possums will probably give sheep a run for their money too, but at least running one or even a dozen over doesn't hurt. I actually saw a sheep today that tried to graze in the middle of the road - now how stupid is that? And the comparison with car drivers is also very true. Often enough you can guess what they may do next. But then there are the ones that are totally unpredictable. So whenever I see one I prepare for evasive action, and once I have them behind me I try to get away from them as quickly as possible.  ;D ;D ;D

p.s. Why did the chicken cross the road?
To show the possum that it can be done!
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

You get used to the sheep and learnt to anticipate their body language, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't! ;D

ah ha..scientific then  ???
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?
