Had a really nice trip down to deepest darkest Somerset today  :) - its been a while since I have been down and up Cheddar Gorge  and over the top of Mendips :)  :)

Strangely I seemed to have been followed for most of the day by a Midnight Blue GTR  ??? ??? - they claimed to be FH but I am not so sure  ???  ;) ???  ;)

Sounds like you had a good time. Weather's been brilliant today in West Yorks just hope it stays hot over the next few days while I'm off. Did you take any photos of your journey?

I had a brilliant ride yesterday on the A6, all the way up from Derby.

Today, feet up and watched cricket, motogp and wimbledon

That's not "deepest, darkest Somerset".
You need to head down the A39 to Dunster and then along the A396 to Exebridge and Tiverton.

If you really want the absolute deepest, darkest part of Somerset then I believe that Wookey Hole is deeper and darker than most of Somerset.  ;D

It wasn't me ... I wasn't there ;D
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I saw a midnight blue GTR at the local Kawasaki shop about 4 weeks ago and it turned out to be a demonstrator for the police. It had a hidden camera in the right air intake slot, recording gear with monitor and radio in one of the panniers and other gizmos designed for unmarked operation. ::)  I guess it would be hard for any offender to outrun that.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.
