There are already two auxiliary sockets on the GTR. One at the front near side and one to the rear.
Didn't know that. The only one I know about is on the front offside. I'll have a look when it comes home tomorrow

Mikey .Yes you can piggy back the aux socket If i remember.the 2 wires front left and at the rear are spares to add more equipment and are part of the aux (socket) circuit. To check find the wires and pull the aux fuse (ignition on as it is switched) to see if you lose power. i ran a GPS/RADIO/SENNA BLUETOOTH and PHONE off this circuit with a 10 amp fuse in the aux slot no problems. Each had a seperate inline fuse fitted as the recomendations were lower than the 10 amp aux fuse. All tucked away but easy to get to if i needed.Just to add. check the voltage input  of the items you want to fit.Ie my phone takes 5volts so i needed a hard wired usb charger which steps down from 12 to 5 v.

I've got my pratnav wired into the front set. I've got a heated jacket with a Bmw din plug on and would like to fit a second socket (din) to plug it into.
Where is the power take off at the back?
