So I now have my nice new shiny stand back from the powder coasters and thanks to the original posting up the top I shall fit it on tomorrow morning as per pictures and instructions.

That will leave me with a stand to sell on to the next person who wants to do the same, any takers?

All done in just over an hour thanks to the original poster Mr

And no kettle involved  :mfr_lol:

Oh and I think I would change point 12, I found it easier to bolt the stand up then put the spring on with pliers rather than the spring on and have to faff about lining the bolts up.

You must be a man without a SWMBO chore list!
My stand took at least the weekend till I could get back to her list!
No brew......sacrilege!
Glad it's all worked out well, need a map of where the spare stand has been on it's relay-route!

The photos in the OP don't look like they want to play.....they've been removed?? I would have liked to read up on it, if and when the time comes and I need to do the same.

3Had a cleanse of my photobucket account without considering that forum pics would go! I'll try me best to find them and restore.

As it's an 11 plate I'll give the stand a good butchers, just to be safe..

You could always buy my spare 11 stand then get it powder coated like I did and fit it in one go like I did.

Then sell yours, like I am trying to do 😀

Took me an hour and a half to do and the only point I would make is that point 12 I found it easier to bolt the new stand up then stretch the spring using pliers to clip on.

Just returned to make a PDF of the post with the pics and they've gone  Hope you can find them again and edit the post ... I need to do this as the Hammerite method just keeps coming off again.
