Morning ladies and gentlemen.
I write this this morning full of sadness.
Due to financial problems at this present time I have had to sell the GTR my health is not the best and covid and short working hours hasn't helped 😢.
I am hoping the situation will improve soon and I will search again for another bike I will still frequent this forum and wish you all old and new safe riding and enjoyment thanks all for your help in the past.ride safe 👌

That's bad news,. I feel your sadness.  I had to give up the GTR and went with a ZZR for a while.  Lighter, but more uncomfortable, so now that's gone as well and has been replaced with a Versys 1000.  Hopefully that'll be extend my 2 wheeling a bit longer

I too sympathise, health conditions are often the cause/reason for a downsize with a bike, I found the GTR too much for me to manage some time ago, I have since tried to put off the inevitable and am now riding a Versys 650, which is a fantastic bike, obviously it has limitations if compared directly with the 'bigger' bikes that I have enjoyed for many years.

The Versys 650 is putting a BIG smile on my face and TBH does everything that my previous bikes did.....just  easier

Good luck Tony, I hope that your health and other matters improve soon

Best wishes ...Rog

That's a shame Tony
We all understand and empathise with you.
Hopefully health and wealth will improve soon and you can ride again.

Tony I'm sad to read this but you have to do what you have to do when personal circumstances change. Don't be a stranger, you have my number and you can always update us on here when things improve.

Take care and look after yourself, Steve

As per my recent text, I'll be happy to stand you a coffee somewhere and catch up as you are local to me - just let me know.

Hopefully you'll be back on a bike in the not too distant future.

Pete.

Sorry to hear this Tony. Hope all will be sorted for you soon. Earlier this year I sold my (your) former GTR to a friend of mine who is now loving GTR life. I have moved to a Ninja 1000SX _ not quite the cruise missile that the GTR is on the motorway but it is more maneuverable around gravel car parks  :scooter:
