HI, I need to replace the forks on my GTR. The previous owner has used what I can only guess to be an axe or road hammer to remove and service them and they are beyond economical repair.
Ive read that a ZZR / zx/14 front end/forks fit the GTR. Anyone have any advice and if so is the conversion doable?

Cheers

I have a pair of ZZR1400 forks on my 2009 GTR with working valves at the caliper end. Has given some improvement to the handling but not enough to justify replacing the stock forks for this reason. My reason was because the chrome was shot and the stanchion became damaged during removal

Get 2012 or later as they are cartridge forks and much better. The earlier ones are the same cheap damper rod forks as the gtr just with separate compression damping.

If you use these you will also need the zzr1400 abs wheel speed sensor and the zzr1400 front wheel.
