Before you go and spend all that money, try tweaking the metal terminals inside the fob. I have been having the same trouble since the bike was delivered a few weeks ago, it's very annoying.

The fob has had two batteries so far but the lfob battery warning keeps coming on.

On Saturday I stripped it down and tweaked all four metal 'tangs' that contact the battery. Been out all day today with a few stops and fingers crossed there's been no warnings.

The horn has stopped working now though...

I have had that problem with the horn .
I had swopped my horn so I thought it might be my fault. After taking the horn off and checking  :censored .
I phoned my local dealer at Cradley told him the problem.
He told me road crud builds up in the switch spray WD40 in and keep pressing the horn.
After a few minutes following his instructions it started working again  .
So try this first It worked for me 👌

Because after Vixer described a possible remedy for fixing the fob, he then found that his horn wasn't working - Pross then advised him of a similar scenario.

Haha, sorry for the confusion. No, the horn was nothing to do with the battery in the fob, it was just something that came up on the day to add to the snagging list.

Regarding the fob, I've done a full tank of fuel this afternoon with a few stops and not once seen the transponder battery warning so, for me, I am calling it fixed. Maybe the metal tangs  get tired over time and lose their 100% contact with the battery.

Another plus today, a swift tap with a spanner got the horn working too

I come back with a happy answer!
I took the FOB to an electronics technician and he repaired it. He said he had a short circuit due to some electronic parts and he changed all these inside.
2o euro instead 350!
Thank you all for your advice!

Excellent news.

My fob too still seems to be behaving itself.

Well done.  Always good to get a decent repair than just binning it and buying a replacement

If you are handy, have a soldering iron, and a magnifying glass you might possibly see something out of place on the circuit board such as corrosion causing a short you might save yourself some money.  Even if you don't see anything amiss, you may also want to scrub down the board with isopropyl (sp?) alcohol and see if it helps.  I don't recommend the drinking alcohol as a rub down but afterwards if what I've told you works then have a snort of your favorite or even if it doesn't work.
