I have a 9 pack of toilet rolls. Am holding on to them for now as I understand they will become more and more valuable. Willing to let them go now though in exchange for 3 bed detached house.  :mfr_lol:

Better accept the first decent offer ya get.
Once the idiot hoarders realise just how stupid they are, there will be a TP glut and prices will plummet.  :mfr_lol:
Oh well, I guess the supermarket shareholders will be happy.

If it's not one thing it's another..  apart from the last 10 months which I would rather forget..  I'm 60 this year and the wife as arranged a holiday in June for us both, but as it's Spain most likely will not be going.. she as booked with jet 2 and need to pay balance by early April.. if we cancel before balance is due we will only loose deposit, if we take a chance and see if jet 2 cancel flights like they have done now... we may get our money back but as these companies don't like returning money most likely will offer a credit for future. As I prefer to have control of my money then I know it's safe just in case jet 2 is hit hard financially. we all know "board directors/share holders" never loose out!  can't see this virus going away anytime soon. either way look's like we will cancel and loose deposit..  with me having rheumatoid arthritis the medication suppressors my immune system so more vulnerable to infections.. I've now come to the conclusion known my luck lately.. if I was to check out.. I would most likely come back as my-self..  lol........
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff

We were off to the Picos in June and now that is in doubt. Just have to see what happens. Cancelled trip to Italy in early April!

One of my riding friends is in Mijas (Malaga) at the moment, on an "after winter" holiday of a month's duration (not riding).

He was due back on 30th March, however that plainly won't work so last Thursday, he bought the earliest cheap flight home that he could find - for next Thursday. Yesterday he was advised that by then travel was likely to be impossible, so he bought a flight for Tuesday to a different UK airport from his departure point, as it was all that was available.

He now has three flights booked (including his original return) and it is entirely likely that none will operate.

Apparently yesterday the Police turned up on the sea front near to his accommodation and ordered all to leave and then barricaded it off. From tomorrow, only food shops and pharmacies will be allowed to open.

I've offered to go to his house and ride his bike out to keep it all going, however although we regularly ride one another's, that brought on some quite rude comments!

Yep.. everyone is affected somehow.. my wife as booked a holiday to Spain in mid June as I'm 60 also my 2 daughters and husbands have also book a centre parks in Cumbria for 4 nights with 2 chalets for my-self/wife and 5 Grandchildren in first week in June, something I was really looking forward to as love being with my grandchildren but not sure if either break is going to happen now. just lets hope that we as a country get a hold of this sooner than later. last year I also cut a holiday short after 2 days in Portugal as my Mum who is 82 had a bad fall and my dad 88 was not feeling to good.. was told by the hospital I best come home thankfully my mum scraped through then my dad passed away.. although now my mum is in her own home she needs care.. So was looking forward to some kind of holiday this year.. not even sure yet if the GTR1400 jolly boys trip in mid may is going to happen will need to wait and see how things go on my side and how the virus will effect the plans.

p.s  in fact there is a least one thing I know for sure...  that is.. if things don't change they will stay the same.. lol....

Hopefully this disease will not impact on the group bike trip to Scotland in May, but realistically it could do for a number of reasons, one being the hotel could be transformed into a temporary hospital.

I never thought in my lifetime I would experience something as catastrophic as this. I might have to camp!  :mfr_lol:

Great to see the great British public rallying round and stripping the supermarket shelves empty. There by denying the elderly and needy of their supplies. Naturally everybody will put their prices up. Tax will go up to cover the expense of virus. The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer.

As we're in the mode for cancelling things, our trip to England is out for now.  Had it planned for early May but in light of the world going to heck in a hand basket here lately we've decided to hunker down and just drink ourselves silly.  I don't think that there has been a run on liquor so I'm out to restock this evening.  We're also good on toilet paper (scored some this morning) so we should be good to....................................................................go.

It really pains me to cancel this trip but I was more afraid of what the governments are doing vs the actual virus itself for now.  Didn't want to be stuck in government limbo on either side of the pond.
