Hi folks.
I was wondering when changing brake/clutch fluids has any body fitted speed bleeder valves.
And if so
A. What did they think ?.
B. What make and where from and do you know the sizes.
I nearly purchased the full set from Murphskits across the pond the order stated 0 postage .
Then the day after another part of them requested $40 shipping I wasn't
Impressed the cost of the parts again which would fit in a jiffy bag . :censored: :censored:

Thanks in advance keep safe all

I don't use speed bleeders, I use a non return valve in a piece of tubing, works a treat.

I use the dealer method, take bike to dealer, explain what I want, sit down and drink their free drinks, pay them money and then ride away and at no time have I even got my hands dirty.  :mfr_lol:

And quite rightly so, it's so undignified doing the work yourself when you can pay someone else to graft for you.

I've used those little no return valves in the past, but usually do it conventionally. Never had any problems getting the air out.  Patience is a virtue!  If the brake lines have been changed I fill the slave cylinders first, using a syringe.

But dealers are the easiest option

I use the old fashioned way called the wife.

She holds it, and I say in then out while turning the nipple, after a while I say hold it in and she does while i nip it up.

Then I check all is well and if so she can them make coffee.

Are we still talking about bleeding brakes?

I've used them in the past on other bikes, but never on the C14 or the Indian.  Probably won't.  Can do it just as well without them.
