Hi all, My 2010 GTR clutch lever bite seems to have moved closer to the handlebar, I also ride an FJR 1300 for the Blood Bikes, it's bite is about halfway out. I really only noticed it the other night after a shift, I got on my bike to come home and stalled it, couldn't work it out then realised the bite on the clutch appeared to have reduced more than it was before. Rode it the other day to make sure I wasn't imagining it and it does appear to have reduced to close to the handlebar, more than I recall anyway.
Trapped air in the system or any other ideas, anyone else had this?
XJ600, VFR800, CBR1100, Varadero1000, CBR1100, STX1300, GTR1400 ?

Yep, fluid can lose some viscosity over time, check the level, check for leaks, maybe have the fluid changed .... what mileage has your bike done ?

My clutch had started to drag because of old fluid.  Flushed through with new fluid and all was well.  So I would try flushing through with new before doing anything else.

Mileage is around 30,000, fluid is a few years old so will try that to start with, many thanks.

I believe the recommendation is to replace the fluid every 2 years.

Flush the brakes while you are at it.  😁
