Please can someone tell me the amperage of the stock charging system?
Thanks

Robbieben

You will have either a 15 or 20 amp voltage regulator fitted to the bike depending on year of manufacture. 2009 onwards should be 20 amps.

I have to admit I thought the pre 2010 models were 10 amps and the 2010 onwards models were only 5 amps.

How much load can you put on the electrical system before you end up with a flat battery. 😁

Precisely.  I never had any issues with the charging output of my 2008.  It handled everything I could throw at it and then some.  It certainly handled heated gear for two up riding without a blink.
