Hi folks.
I went to fit a scorpion carbon exhaust today the standard one was held on with three bolts easy peasy.
When trying to fit the scorpion the bore measured 54mm inside compared to the standard measuring 60 mm on the inside didn't want to force on as 6 mm is a huge difference for something like this .
Anybody else fitted a scorpion and had the same problem thank you in advance

the standard fitment has a sleeve/gasket which fits around the link pipe....... have you re- fitted it ?

Hi O.C.
I noticed that but it looks like it's welded in place on the bike part

Had a look on the Kawasaki parts site as you rightly stated O.C.
It's a muffler gasket it looked like welded steel but it's actually a  steel colour copper collar.

Once prised off the exhaust went on easily thanks for your help O.C. 👌

I bet you are right without your tip I would just presume it's the standard pipe.

How does it sound?

As well as the weight saved Sounds really nice like a rumble but not OTT and I have left the baffles in .👍
