After being a way on holiday for a few weeks, i realise i had forgotten to leave the bike on a charger!!...come home to flat battery and dutifully charge it up.....4 days later (not much riding), battery is flat again....and yet again charge it up........2 days later (no riding as i have been away again on last minute business trip) battery flat again.

I suspect the battery being allowed to completely drain is the cause of the problem and why its not holding a charge ... anyway my question is this, how easy are the batteries to change??.....is a just a case of removing the 2 small panels unclipping and sliding out, or is it more indepth??
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Kwikasfuki

Remove the 2 panel.
Unclip the belt holding the battery to the frame
Slide out

Suggest you put a battery tender on as it make changing the battery much more easier in the future

yep ive had the same problem.  left the ignition on overnight and after being flat it wont hold a charge, that was a year ago.

had to buy a new battery.
frustration this week is that I went to collect my bike from the bodyshop on saturday and the battery was flat which means that they have left the ignition on and knackered the new battery.

bet they wont replace it.

I wouldn't give them the option of not replacing it!  :hammer:

I hear that, but I can only protest.
