Well picked the bike up on Friday, rode down to friends near Cheltenham, 150 odd motorway miles but can't fault the bike, lovely and comfortable, nice to have the electric screen which works very well, though I like riding with it at it's lowest setting.

360 miles on Saturday around Gloucester and Wales, very surprised with the bikes agility for a heavy bike, once on the move it disguises its weight very well.

I'm loving the storming power delivery as you roll the power on in 3rd and 4th gear, very similar to my old ZZR 1400.

Had a nice ride home Sunday 250 miles and appreciated the screen during the first 50 or so miles keeping the rain of me, it's been quite a while since I stayed that dry when riding in the rain.

I must get the first service booked now.  :whistling:

The more you ride it the more you will appreciate it. I am on my 5th one and would not have any other just waiting for the next model launch.
get a grip and deal with it

First one for me just done 3k miles in 2 1/2 months. So easy to do the big mileages but easy to ride round urban places too. Just fitted 2" risers which at 6'2" I can really recommend, as you say the electronic screen is a real bonus. Nearly certain I will get it remapped but that's all to do with emission controls screwing up the fuelling, last bike was the same. Enjoy !
when all else fails read the manual

Thanks Ray, I'm 6'2" myself and have been looking at the riser options, can't make my mind up on "up" or "up and back".

O.C.

The GTR is a stunning bike and for me the best bike I've owned (I have owned four from 2009 -2017)

Health issues have now forced me to choose a much lighter bike which is sad, but my Versys 1000 GT is an excellent alternatve

Robbie, I have a set of pullback risers still available.
Make me an offer on them if you want them.
See The Market section below.
Glad you're loving it.

I'll take them and give them a try, how much do you want for them?
