Hi

My GTR has just had its 12,000 mile service, the only extra was a set of front brake pads - which surprised me a bit given I thought I was fairly light on the use of the brakes.

Kind regards

Steven

Is that the first set of pads you've replaced though? Mine went after 9k

Just out of interest how much was your 12000 mile service ??.... I have just clocked 8000 and so have to book it in soon ... like tomorrow  ;D

Mine needed front pads at its 12k service too. Like you Steve, I consider myself fairly kind to the brakes. I guess 300kg of bike, plus 90kg of me and kit takes some stopping.

IIRC, my 12k service was £300 including the front pads (about £150 inclusive of fitting I think). 12k is a minor service is it not? My 7,500 mile service was a good £300 on its own, and the 15k is next Tuesday - wallet is quivering already.

65,000 miles now. Loving this bike.

Hi

Mine 12k service was £150 + brake pads at approximately £86 - total cost £236 inc VAT
However the service costs have been discounted as I struck a deal on all the servicing costs up to and including the 12k service when I purchased the bike last year. From now on I will have to start paying the full price  :(

The 12k service does include replacing the the Air filter, mine most certainly needed replacing,  which is why it tends to be slightly more expensive than the standard 4k service.

Kind regards

Steven
