usually after a meeting there is a report as to how it went. This time there was a staggering silence so that is why I enquired. Hope that is ok with you.

There's nothing staggering about it.

I wasn't able to attend, however those that did attend very much enjoyed themselves which is great news and exactly what was planned.

It's a great shame that more support wasn't forthcoming however the lack of support didn't spoil things for those who did attend.

Well I'm pleased that those who attended enjoyed themselves, that's what it's all about at the end of the day.


Circumstances dictated that for various individual reasons it wasn't as well attended as previous meets, but that's just representative of the pressures and commitments faced by people these days through work, family life, etc etc.


I don't recall exactly when, possibly four years ago, an intended meet in Devon did have the plug pulled because of much uncertainty as to who could make it, these things happen occasionally.



The small soir'ee planned for The Belfry next month will hopefully give people a further opportunity to catch up with folk who couldn't attend this meet.

P.S. further to my above post, I am still however very surprised that nobody has put any sort of update on of any description.....that is quite bizarre.

I will be compiling a short write up soon with a couple of photos. But, as pointed out by Wolf, I have work commitments and last week a Scout camp that have occupied every moment of my waking life since returning from the epic meet. Patience fellow GTR owners
