Now guys, I don`t mind cleaning my new baby in fact i get a lot of pleasure seeing the end result... all clean and shiny.. BUT...i feel the only way to clean the wheels properly (I have silver but one day I would like black) is to either get a old toothbrush and get the old knuckles red raw from trying to get into all the nooks and cranny's or take the wheels off lol. now has anyone borrowed the wife's (or Girlfriends) steam cleaner the type that the adverts show getting the kitchen hob and oven grease free and sparkling.

I tried and it bakes the dust from the pads into the middle rough part of the wheel mine are also silver wheels now with dirty middle section

Washing up brush, and a strong solution of Flash (the cleaning liquid stuff) and hot water.

Keeps silver wheels silver

Cheers

Ps i changed my black ones esp for silver ones few years ago
Just cause black always looked dusty and i didnt like the match with the color of the bike...
Prob too much dust here

They fit great with the titanium color of the bike, and with the other silver parts of the bike too
