If you live in a country where there's a town every five miles maybe. Mine let me know I had a puncture 30 miles from the next one horse town and nearly a hundred miles from the next substantial town. I watched the slow loss of pressure and the GPS range and kept the speed up so I'd be near civilisation if I needed help.
Only ever happened once, but its better than being stuck on the side of the road in the outback with a completely flat tyre.

I carry a portable inflater and those sticky stringy thingies so if something happens in the great wide open or even down the road, I can get it somewhere to either get if fixed properly or get it home.  Air gauges only work with the bike standing still, not whilst it's moving so you can't tell what's happening in motion and I'm pretty sure that most of us don't check the air pressures at every stop other than just the initial starting out.

OKO is the answer. Cheaper and more reliable.

Not sure what OKO means but I'm sure it's not friendly to TPMS... :mfr_lol:

no it's not so can't use with toms. It's a liquid in tyre that seals it if a puncture occurs. Very effective. Some say alters balance of tyre but never had a prob with it in past.
