Merry xmas
Looking at fitting these crash bungs, used them before on couple of old bikes, they worked really well🙄
Has anybody got these fitted? Or cheaper ones that have worked?? Thinking more of a topple over than a full on crash, not keen on adventure bars......
Thanks Paul

R+G do some nice stuff but seem very dear compared to other makes. If youve got em then ye put em on cant hurt eh. If not look around there are cheaper products. Fairing bungs could be useful for a topple over too 👍
Baby blade ,rt1100,CB1300 and the best yet gtr1400 😁😁😁👌
It's all in the wrist you know 😏😏👀

I have the R&G engine bars on the front and can verify when some guy is reversing back into you and you have to lay the bike down gently they are a money saver, a simple scratch on the LH lower bar was all I got.  Not even the mirrors touched down.

Best money I spent for ages. No idea about the bungs.
Ducati owner now but I used to have a Black one, the fastest version.
Previous, Sprint ST (2), VFR 800, Fireblade's (4) SP1, VTR1000, GPZ900, CB250, BSA Bantam D14/4, Suzuki TS100, SX200.

O.C.

I have fork bungs and swing arm bungs on mine, they've not been put to the test, don't R&G do Adventure bars too which I think is what  Alan has on his bike

Biker Bugs

I've got bars and fork/swing arm bungs on mine.

Certainly saved an expensive bill when I dropped her on my trip to Assent.

Off to Spain in June, deffo think I should get something, my mate dropped his zzr1400 outside a petrol station this year, luckily for him only couple of minor scratches as he had R+G bungs on

Speaking from the expensive side of a topple over ..  it was my 09 bike ..it slipped off the side stand on a cobbled street ..... the bill for parts was 2k !!!and 1k in VAT and labour .
Not only were the fairings scraped the screen mechanism was feked the head light mounts broke etc etc .
So Wook has put R&G Adventure bars front and canyon cages rear ...also bongs on front axle and swing arm .
Expensive ? Aye a bit .. but a LOT cheaper than dropping the bike ..and don't say you never have in the past .. I did and look what happened

You wouldn't ride on the road without insurance would you?
Consider whatever protection device simply as that - an insurance policy!
I have the genuine Kawasaki engine protectors on mine, as with R&G swing arm bungs.
Does what it says on the can, verified!
And the Wooks experience confirms protection costs in!
Hopefully you'll never need it but........................................
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

Just my two pennyworth -  maybe a good idea to inform your insurance you are thinking of doing the mods and get their comments before you commit to buying just to be on the safe side. Insurance these days will find any loop hole / excuse not pay out.
get a grip and deal with it
