I always thought that if we voted out, there would be an option for genuine concessions that they were too scared to give Cameron when he first asked.  It would then be worth another vote if we can keep the good bits (free trade) and lose the bad bits (uncontrolled immigration and closer integration) but it relies on the EU recognising that their days are numbered and salvaging something. However, being practical and pragmatic isn't one of their strengths

The USD is king when it comes to international business.

We as a nation are net importers.

The Sterling / USD rate is the only thing that is important, that is what will control our economy as it will control the retail price of the majority of items we take for granted as we use them in our daily lives.

Decision has been made by the people.

We need to get on and show the world we have the backbone to implement that result with the minimum of delay so allowing the markets to regain confidence and to minimise the damage done by speculators to our quality of life.

The art of good management is to make decisions with the best information available at that time. Then monitor and review.

From what I've seen over recent weeks the nation has had its decision making head mushroomed managed by all sides.

A little late to this thread but I was out on the decking drinking a bottle of Moet to celebrate. I see that we are all still here, the world has not come to an end and sadly there are those throwing teddies all over the place. The people have spoken and we live in a democracy. Thank goodness for those simple pleasures that we all take for granted.
