Have fun guys and girls. I won't be there. First, I live on the other side of the channel. Second, it's my wife's birthday today.

I'm on call on the blood bike tomorrow but as its a GTR I might make a sneaky couple of hour diversion and pop in for breakfast. Just depends how busy we are.

Thanks! However, we live in the Flemish (Dutch) speaking part (and we both don't speak French) ;-)

Nevertheless much appreciated, I'll pass it on to my wife.

If any bike parts / repairs / work is required pop to Haines Motorcycles in the high street, pass on my regards to Tony as I used to train CBT / part 1 & 2 with him for Glos Council!
Really miffed that unable to attend through family and work commitments, miss the old hunting ground!
Enjoy the weekend!

Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

Good to meet you all last night, couple of local recommendations:

Great home cooked pub food, bit of a local secret is the Yew Tree Inn at Peterstow, just outside Ross a couple of miles up the Hereford road. They also have a cider farm, just behind the pub, Broome Farm and a shop where you can buy their cider. (I am not connected with them, but it is a bit of a special place.) if you like you can have a wander through the apple orchards and check out the farm, lovely people.

Enjoy your ride out today, Brecon and the Black Mountains is a good day trip,

Cheers,

Phil
We're going all the way till the wheels fall off and burn and the sun peels the paint and the seat cover fades and the water moccasins die...

Hope your all having a great weekend and really sorry that I didn't manage to call in. Murphy's law came into play and its been a really busy day on the blood bike. At 18-30 I have a 100 mile round trip to change the blood on the Air Ambulance, which is done every 48 hours unless it gets used.

Just have to try harder next time.

Best wishes.

Home safe at 13:30.
Had a fun ride home.
Only 1.5 miles of motorway (A1M) and the rest on fast A roads with some empty twisties here and there.
Was good to meet you all.
Now the lawn needs mowing and I have a bike to rebuild (the GTR1000).
