Sorry Mr Wolf that is what I was told. So BMW's depreciate more than Kawasakis I did not know that.

You wouldn't believe what a dealer offered me for mine, it was a joke. 


I had a private buyer view mine and he offered me almost £3k more than what the dealer did.

Dealers don't seem to want their BMW bikes back, unless its at their low values, The K1300 GT I owned suffered in the same way

Dealers offered me stupid money for my RT until one was up for a sensible deal and I got what I wanted. He wins because I would be more inclined to go back again. They just have such big overheads that if they cant make at least £1500 to £2000 profit on each bike they wont deal.

But if I did that, what would I advertise it as....a BMW or a Kawasaki? I wouldn't want to get done by the bike advertisement Police

I do get a few 'nice BMW' comments but I politely tell them 'it's a fn Kawasaki you moron!'.  They usually turn red and walk away after that.  Strangely I don't make many friends on the road.  Never could understand that.

I've got something similar on the front and the back.  I'll have to take a picture of it when I get a chance..
