3 of us went on a 4 day tour of tenby, ilfracombe, newquay, lands end and torquay, a dam good time had by all. me on my gtr1400, one mate on his hayabusa and the other mate on his zx10r. 983 miles total. the first pic looking out over tenby bay, 2nd pic was a rest stop at minehead, well I think its minehead. but there again, I thought ilfracombe was tenby!! also took a pic of this guys harley, it was bringing alot of attention, the owner said it was worth £30,000. not my cup of tea, but stiil dam nice!

That sounds and looks great .... I love that part of the world ... Newquay and anywhere down in the west .... great scenic rides along the coast, cream teas with REAL clotted cream and some marvellous ale !  ;D
£30.000 for that bike ? As you say, not my cup of tea either ... be interested to see what he could get for it on todays market !

I'm a Southerner although I'd never admit it now I live up in the North. I was born & brought up around Newquay, Mawgan Port, Wadebridge etc.
I think thats why I keep going back every year.

Blimey I didn't realise that Ilfracombe Harbour looked exactly like Tenby?  :D

I love riding in the West Country, but in the summer you spend your entire time overtaking caravans and dozy tourists.  >:(
Start at Bridgewater and then just avoid any dual carriageways.
Stunning views, fun roads, and in low season empty roads too.
