Motor Cycle Mega Market

[ChrisB]

Just received a marketing email from mega Market in Swindon promoting their massive sale this weekend and inviting people to call for the best UK price for certain special deals, including an Alpinestar textile jacket. Well that's exactly what I want to match the pants I bought last year so I am a bit perplexed to be told it is £10 dearer at Swindon than at my local dealer in Manchester.

Sounds a bit 'odd' Chris

Will you be buying from your local dealer then ?

Yes I thought it was odd but the sales assistant had no answer. I bought the pants and a helmet from Rocket in Blackburn a few months ago. they were pretty good so I will probably go back there for the jacket. I don't normally use mail order for bike gear, I prefer to visit a shop and feel the goods.
