Hello everyone, I've just picked up my GTR1400 (early March), previously I had a CBF1000 and this is a much bigger & more powerful bike.
I'm still treading carefully but yesterday (Good Friday) did my first big run up to Hawes & Malham (150 miles) in beautiful sunshine & blue skies!
Was good to get some decent mileage under my belt and first of many before I venture to Northern Spain this summer! - Mike

Its great to have you on board catmik, and your bike looks superb, thanks for the intro

There is plenty of useful information available on here, so any questions you may have will no doubt be answered, there's also plenty banter so don't be surprised/offended, just join in

Yesterday was indeed a lovely day, Hawes is only 17 miles from my gaff, however I was out in the other direction (Helmsley) otherwise we may have met up, maybe another time

We have an event taking place in June, perhaps you will be able to join us, you can read about it here

Welcome Mike. Nice step up from the CBF 1000. I had one when they first came out but have had a few others on my way to the GTR.
Lovely area for your first longer ride.

Welcome Mike.

I also moved from a CBF1000 to a GTR. I haven't regretted it for a single second. Enjoy! :punk:

Cheers
