Mind you I do quite like the look of fur but you can't put a top box on I'm told.

When I consider changing this bike I always,at mo, come to the conclusion that I would only change it for another gtr. In this country I think it is greatly under rated.

I've been with PRD while he's been in his contemplating mode..............

We were looking at Moto Guzzi at the time.......a bike full of charm ..................but possibly able to strand you on the roadside with random frequency.

GTR feisty fun filled reliable riding that is so underrated.

PRD is right in what he says ............what else could replace his GTR

My "Cooker Knob" never comes out.. I have had a key cut for the fuel cap and the fob is always in a zipped pocket on my jacket and never comes out..

I have these for my panniers.

Lonewolf

That's a novel idea, I like it.

Elegant as always Debs. I do like the look of those.

Lovely knobs, Debs.  How did you keep the keys vertical?

Epoxy resin. It was very easy to do. Got the knobs from Radio Shack :)

Most of our RS went out of business.  I see one occasionally, though.

Look on ebay or amazon

The pannier knobs look very neat, but what do you do when you park up? Do you take the knobs with you? If so, why not just use the key you've had cut for the fuel cap? Am I missing something?

I just use the cooker knob for everything and keep the fob in a waterproof pocket. Is the key on it so easily damaged?

virginiajim

The stove (or cooker, I like that) key can get 'bent' easier than most keys.  We've seen a few instances of that on our side.
