The Frank Sinatra special over in the US.   Taped it on the DVR, just listening to it now.  Most of it I just wanted to throw up.  The high spots were Frank, Seth Mcfarlane, and Tony Bennett.  The rest of it sucked.  When you have Garth Brooks in a cowboy hat singing Frank Sinatra songs you just want to kill yourself.  No one had the 'voice' except for Seth.  Hard to believe but he can hit it.  When Garth came on I fixed a vodka martini and got feeling good.  Also, as Charlie can tell you, I get sad for England when I drink.

I'm coming back in 2017...   I fully intend to kiss the ground when I arrive.    in my eyes...  I want to be stung by stinging nettles and healed by doc leaves...  I hope to see you all then.

I was watching his 50th Anniversary Special on our PBS last night.  I really enjoyed it.  I haven't really paid him much attention over the years.  He is quite good.  Seems he inherited his skills from his father, Woody.

I had a friend named Roger in Reading in the late 50's.  We finally caught up with each other several months back.  Bear in mind I was probably no more than 3 during the first visit and then about 7 or 8 the next time we were in England at Upper Heyford.

Philistine!  I like most kinds of music except US country music.  Gives me a headache, it does.

About the special on Sinatra the other night...it sucked.  Except for Seth MacFarlane.   He was the only one out of all the imitators (rotten all of them except for him) that had the 'voice'.  Not something I can describe but I knows it when I hears it.
