Ok its a terrible day weatherwise and I'm sure there are many of us out there who are frustrated because we cant get out on our bikes so to, (hopefully) give you all a chuckle I've sorted out some photos and a news clip with a video on it. Please, DO watch the video.
Nobody got hurt in any of the pics and even the drivers laughed about it afterwards. Even Mr Jones!!  ;D

This guy wanted somewhere to park at the local car boot sale but all the parking places were full. Suddenly he thought, there's nobody over there so thats where I'll park & thats exactly where he did park. Only problem was he then blocked in a garage full of ambulances. Not a mistake he will ever make again.

This guy who worked for Willi Betz assisted by his sat nav decided to take a short cut down a road which was originally designed for horses and carts. Unfortunately by the time he realised his mistake it was too late & he couldn't reverse back up the lane. The result was a lengthy extraction by our Rota garage followed by holding his wagon to ransom until the bill had been paid via Visa, some £2000+ and a sum for the damage to the garden wall. Ouch, thats gotta hurt!!

This one speaks for itself. I stopped the guy and told him it worked and I even gave him a certificate to prove it. ;)

Yikes, this one could have been very messy....The driver actually criticised the home owner and told them to stop making a fuss! ::)

Another sat nav blunder, the sat nav's fault apparantly. The driver's eyes mean nothing, sat nav says I can come down here so it must be right! And then it all went horribly wrong on the bend. Wedged between a wall and the tarmac incline.

Another sat nav blunder, I accepted what the driver said that this route was a short cut and therefore in theory quicker, but that was only if you didn't get stuck half way up the lane. It came to light shortly after this picture was taken that the driver didn't even have a driving licence.  :o

Last but not least, this one had to be seen to be believed. A car stuck up a hillside resting against a wooden fence which was now leaning outwards with a 300 foot drop on the otherside.

It took about eight hours to safely get this car off the hillside as there was a serious risk of the car slipping in which case it would have rolled down half a mile of hillside before coming to rest in someones loft.  :o
This story made all the papers and Tv stations.  Before the BMW 530d came to rest on this corner he had driven over a mile down the bridlepath on a strip of land which a local farmer told me, "I dont even bring the horses down here anymore, its too dangerous".

Please click on the link below to read the story and watch the video. Even the spokesman from Garmin was struggling to stifle a laugh.  ;D ;D ;D
