Obviously not on the Queen's highway but how fast have you been on your bike. I suspect I'm a bit of a wimp fastest I have been was on French motorway two up fully loaded 110 mph. Are the earlier models faster?

:agree:      I'm with Jim all the way on that!

Big believer in "it ain't what it does, it the way that it does it!"

Still think it's one of the best buzzes when you wind 'em up from 6k to 8k in third or fourth,  :surrender:

who gives a darn about the mph!

Silly question...........what happens after 9000 rpm? Warp drive?
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

I did that today in fact... 6k to 8k in 3rd or fourth.

Warp drive...yes.  I've had that happen a time or two.   Time stands still.  Quite unnerving actually.  I also felt the bike pulling away from me...literally.  I felt like I was going backwards and the bike was going forwards.

1400GTR camara bike at TT following Mr Dunlop. If it was a 2010 model the pillion would of been able to film the front of Mr Dunlops bike as they do in the Tour de France !  :mfr_lol:

He must've been taking it easy. The average lap for the top blokes is 125+, so the GTR would struggle to keep up.  :whistling:

Would have loved to have seen the GTR in action from behind..

Try it ... you'll like it. Third gear is best. or second.  never be afraid of the red line. bike engines are designed to rev.

The shifting improves remarkably as well at the higher rpms (not that it's bad to begin with).

This bike begs to be ridden hard..and does extremely well when done so.

You need to focus on your observation skills where roundabouts are concerned.......you remember what I'm referring to?
