OK, cancelled meet up........ downer! :sad:
Off work / shift as swap arranged on a cracking day......positive!   :clap:
So, me and the good lady head to Cheshire, great days riding, amazing autumnal colours and dry roads......but turned out very, very, expensive! :angry:
Lunch needed - driving passed a National Trust site - she says.....lets go in, never been here and it looks nice, and even offers to buy soup and a roll!
Wallet starts cringing in my pocket......£9 each to get in........annual membership speil starts, wife decides we should do it as kids no longer about.
And guess who hasn't got her bank card with her...........wallet eventually torn from defensive position and handing over a tidy sum for NT membership!
Shouldn't complain as there are some fantastic sites in great places, with great rides for the bike........but..........
It all started with the thought of the Horseshoe pass and a bacon butty............ :undecided:
