Hi all,

I have an aftermarket screen which made riding bearable in strong wind, however I hated the way it made the bike look, so put the original screen back on.....much better!!

However!!!!! I get a lot of wind/buffeting noise,mo matter where the screen is moved to.

Any good aftermarket (or Kawasaki) "lips" or "attachments" that can calm this down?

Cheers guys

It all depends on your height and for some width, lol,  lots on here have tried big barn door screens ,lips on the top and for me I put on a smaller screen to get rid of the flapping noise , you just have to try a few untill you get one that works , I use a smaller screen then use the electric screen to up it if I need more wind protection , when I got my Ktm 990 superduke I thought that as there was no wind protection that it would be noisey , not at all unless you go above 80 , it the fairings and screens that make all the noise ,,,

Your choice of screen depends upon your size in most cases, and if you sit 'tall' on your bike the screen option that Debs employs is good and will suit the majority of riders, on my 2009 GTR I had a lip which sort of worked, but I was never sure if it was all that much better or not also I don't know what type of helmet you are using as that can have a dramatic effect for some riders

I am of the opinion that riding a bike should involve some wind noise so I personally don't want or expect a 'cocooned' environment as some noise is all part of the enjoyment
