Got a phone call from the workshop about Kelpy.
She needs a new KiPass ECU
Cost is about £700 +vat but they can source one from NZ for $500 [about £250]

Questions abound, like is it new or used. If used does it come with a fob or can it be reprogrammed.
I despair. Will the cheaper option really work out that way.
What with all the other problems she's had I might aswell buy a  BMW

Dave
I have the full kipass system that I removed from my bike that was written off last year. ECU,ignition lock, master fob, passive fob etc.

However my bike was a 2011 model. Speak to your dealer and see if it will be compatible with your 07 model.

If it works then the whole system would mean no reprogramming, but then you would have mismatched locks on the panniers.
