Fitted new 2inch risers  ( advanced sports tourers supplied with 80mm new bolts ).
bought longer bolts 100mm so I could fit the Kawasaki Satnav bracket as well perfect with the 100 mm bolts local suppliers 50p each for ST/ST

Had it MOT'd and pumped the tyres up, an embarrassing low 1137 miles since last MOT!

I had the KTM 625 SMC, MOT'd as well, an embarrassing low 8 miles since the last MOT! (Ps it's 4 miles each way to the MOT Centre!)

I did the ZZR 14 and the VFR750 last week, pretty much the same, the ZZR did 117 miles and the VFR did 28 miles, and they both included the 8 mile round trip to the MOT Centre.

The only good news is with such low miles that none of them needed anything doing  (I had to replace an indicator bulb on the KTM pre MOT)

I try to use all the bikes to commute when the weather is dry, the rest of the time I use the Sccot. The roads have been so wet or greasy this past year that I just haven't wanted to risk the bigger bikes so racking the miles up on the Scoot

Roll on the (dry) summer

Man, I understand your situation.  Had seven bikes a couple of years ago, that all needed insurance and state inspection (your MOT).  As a traveling salesman, the bikes were hardly ever ridden.  Made some trades and ended up with three today.   Semi retired now, and commute to part time job, mainly with the C14, occasionally the RT. Commuting on a scooter in my locale (except a Bergman or new BMW) would get me killed.  Speed limits are too high for most made, to be safe.  tp

Went to a Kawa-dealer and bought the Thundernugget a 2 year extended warranty, as i decided to keep that black Berzerk for now. He's turning 2 years 25th april so I had to make my mind up on the warranty deal. A set of Michelin PR4 GT and a 30.000 km service and the season of 2015 is on.

Did a service today. Oil, oil filter and air filter.
She does seem to be breathing easier now.
Must remember to change air filter more often.
That's 40k miles on that filter.

Wildy. Did you have any problems mounting the rack on top of the box?

I know Givi don't make a rack for the E470 (our boxes) but I see the rack you have is the E107.

No problems at all.Just drill through the lid and bolt on.Measure twice drill once the saying goes.I put masking tape on the lid then some grease on the feet of the rack.Pressed it on to the lid which gave me my markings to drill.I have a givi 15ltr cargo bag strapped to it for quick access to our wet weather gear.  PS.I used rubber washers on the rack to fix down.I think they came with it.

Just to add If your gonna fit one. When you drill the holes start with the front two (nearest the seat ) then do a test fit so you can lign it up before marking the others.
