Just spotted this GTR advertised on eBay.. Can anyone tell me what type of seat is on it and if there any good? The pillion section looks a lot higher, or rather the rider lower and could prove useful as Im quite tall and my missus is a lot shorter, she has to kind of look around my shoulder to see ahead sometimes if you get me.
Apologies if the pic quality is poor, it was just a screenshot using my phone.

Looking at the cut and pattern it looks like the Corbin from across the pond don't take my word as gospel I have been looking at loads .

Yes it's a Corbin the same as mine.. It is a firm seat but I like the design.. Great for a pilly as they can see over your shoulder.

I going to add a comment, that sounds negative, but its not - its just an opinion.

I rode Debs bike with the corbin seat....  personally I think some bikes you sit on (most kawasaki's) and other bikes you feel like you sit in (BMW's).  What I felt was that the corbin seat changed the dynamics of the GTR to a bike that you feel like you sit in, rather than on.

It's not something I would do as I don't like it, but it would be a dull world if we were all the same.

If your anywhere near the south coast, I'm sure Deb's would meet you and let have a sit (provided theres cakes and coffee).....

the corbin sure has a mixed opinion . Corbin are fairly big in the states and its name crops up a lot of the few usa forums I go on.
There is a small but loyal following for the corbin seat but a lot of riders buy them and then regret due to the firmness of the seat .

But the thing that Corbin are famous for is their legendry poor customer services, if you buy a seat that is fine then you wont have a problem , but if it has a fault , stitching or the such like then god help you , apparently they are a nightmare to deal with.

Anyone wishing to buy a corbin then look into it carefully , Debs loves her so they can get it right. Read the reviews , I cant recall reading a bad word about Top Sellerie but im sure they have issues.

do your homework

I would swap it for a Russell Day Long if I had the money.

I love my Corbin and would buy another from new if needed, but like said they ain't for everyone you need to miles in a seat before buying one as I have had many and not liked em gets expensive if all bought from new. Yet would be tempted for a Russell's at the right price lol

I have a russle day long seat on my gtr , got it off ebay last year ,it is the most comfortable seat I have ever had on any bike ,I tried the gel seats and they were to hard and not  enough support ,so looked into it and there on eBay 20 miles from me was a russle day long seat ,went to view and made him a offer before the auction ended and got the seat , it is excellent and supports you under the bum cheeks so there is no discomfort , would highly recommend , it is just like sitting on a leather sofa,
