Have you checked with service departments at dealerships or used/salvage shops?  Has to be a ton of those around, from years gone by.  Wrecked/partial bikes tossed to the back of the shop.  Think of it as a scavenger hunt, and ask some friends "mates" to help with your search.  A few pints for the winner, maybe... tomp

Interesting.  Every new bike sold in the US has to have them.  What you said about the confusion they may cause makes sense.  Shame that our law makers aren't as well informed; don't get me started!!

From 'down under' everything about lights in the US is weird! Here we are very similar to the UK... (don't get me started on 'antiquated rules!).  Back to the topic. WHY are indicators on vehicles in the US red (a brighter red maybe, but still red) than running lights at the back - rather than something 'different' such as 'amber'? Makes no sense to me!

If you talk about turn signals, they are amber in the front and red in the rear.   All rearward lights are supposed to be red, except for the license plate and backup lights.  All frontwards lights are amber except headlights and fog lights.

Turn signals are allowed to be Amber; just look at almost any imported car. US domestic manufacturers save a few cents per car by combining the brake light with the turn signal. That's why they are red.

You could try a commercial vehicle body builder and or motor factor/dealer as these things tend to be consumables in the world of haulage
