So folks, had my GTR about 2 weeks now and have noticed that for a big bike, the footprint of the side stand isn't very big, which could lead to a toppling over. I've googled a bit, but wanted to ask here ...
Has anyone fitted a sidestand enlarger onto the factory side stand ? And if so where did you get it and are you impressed?
Thanks. .... D

I don't think the bike needs one, but having said that, I'm in for a group buy if its the projektd one

probably a good idea to have a slightly larger footprint as long as its not too big and not expensive

easy to fabricate something from 6mm aluminium

Yeah the  R & G one looks good.

That's what I have.  It's fell off once and I had to get a replacement.  Now I make sure the screws stay tight.

I used some stud lock on the threads. It's not going anywhere now. :)

Being a simple soul I went to Halfords and bought a  Red Plastic disc thing which I keep in fairing locker if ground looks dodgy I pop it under the existing side stand,

On a more fun note I have asked a mate to make on his 3D Printer and do it in K green, he has already produced one in Red for his Ducati.  with Ducati printed around the edge very smart but a bit OCD lol

Ditto. It's a solid machined piece of alloy held on by 3 screws it's solid once fitted.
The only thing to watch is it reduces the lean angle so just be aware if fitting.
