Robbing French  :asshole: :censored: :shit: Had to pay the cheeky  :asshole: 455 euros before I could get the bike released for shipment. Apparently there's 88 euros storage costs and just under 300 euros to fit a fuel pump (supplied by me) and diagnosed by them, that wasn't needed plus taxes.
I can't wait to get the bike back to see what's actually wrong with it. I've already been onto Kawasaki UK about it all and they've given me some info on how to complain to Kawasaki customer services in France. Should've let Germany keep the  :shit: hole, at least there'd have been a chance of getting something done then. They might as well have put a tyre on the bike to see if it cured the FI fault! :censored: :censored: :censored:

Erm sorry, I sound a bit miffed

You are not alone with your disappointment of the quality of Kawasaki and Kawasaki dealer aftercare standards..................................It falls well short of the mark in UK so I assume this is a EU directive by KHI................"take the money at time of sale and  :single fuck: 'um ever after"........ :2guns: :2guns:

I wouldn't say it was the fault of Kawasaki, just an appalling clueless dealership. I received some good support from Kawasaki UK, and they even told me that they can't recall a fuel pump being replaced on a GTR. I'm going to wait until the bike is back home before ripping into the dealership via Kawasaki France customer services.

There are some great Kwak dealers who provide terrific aftercare but it wouldn't surprise me if we all have at least one horror story, I know I do.  :whistling:

The experience I've had so far from my supplying dealers aftercare department is sadly lacking by any fair and reasonable persons expectations.

It is the responsibility of KHI to sort the wheat from chaff and stop the Russian Roulette faced by the investors of their product in the aftercare market (that's right KHI............investors. The ones who make your pay day possible)

We as customers should expect a set standard of quality workmanship from KHI franchise holders throughout Europe, equal or better than the quality both of you have experienced from your respected dealers.

When we take our inter continental ballistic missiles for a Euro-Bimble it would give supreme confidence knowing that if problems occurred a local KHI dealer would have the skill mix to carry out diagnostic and repair work to an acceptable pan-European level of quality.

This is not what shaggs147 has experienced in recent weeks

:listencarefully: My thoughts and feelings are with you shaggs147 I'm hoping with correct diagnostic procedure the fault is found quickly and that rectification is as painless as possible.

All well and good having a rant at KHI.

But my comment was clearly based on my personal experiences with Kawasaki U.K, not Kawasaki France, Germany or any other Euro branch of the KHI franchise.

In my opinion Shaggs seems to have had a raw deal from Kawasaki France and I've no doubt he will manage his complaint with them (via Kawasaki U.K) in a rational and reasoned manner,  which is how I've always managed my complaints as it invariably results in a positive outcome

Thanks for all the support Debs and chaps

Well the bike is back, but in a worse state than it went in that bloody garage. Battery state OK, but the ignition won't even turn on. Have recorded the fault with the RAC just so it can be noted on record. Time for me to start looking for faults now. What a mess this all is.

shaggs147

This does not bode well......... stripped the bike back, and started to look for the electrical faults. I don't know what the hell those monkeys have been doing, but I found that the main 30A fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse and now have power up to the ignition, but no LCD display whatsoever
The bike certainly did not go into the garage like that, so I really dread to think what I will find now. Also a lot of the fairing bolts were missing, the compartment on the left hand side of the fairing was not bolted back in, and the lugs where it sits in the fairing are broken off. There is also a cover missing under the fuel tank. The small rubber hoses were not connected to the tank, and have so far found two plugs not connected together.
You can imagine how angry I am at the moment...... Oh yeah, they charged me 455 euros for this handy work.
