Hi, i´ll be getting my GTR in Setember and i looking for your help, i´m 6´2 and 285 lb when i shower and my wife is 124 lb when she showers with me, so my question, is the GTR able to handle this amount of wheight in long travels and some twisty roads?
My last bike (will be leaving in 4 days  for the new owner) is a 2007 ZZR 1400 and i put a Nitron rear schock and stronger springs at the front so i could explore the sport abilities of the bike on the very twisty road where i live, i know that a GTR is diferent from a ZZR but i want the touring capabilities but also the sport capabilities.
So, the big question is should i put a rear nitron (or other brand) shock on the gtr and what can i do at the front (progressive springs from Hyperpro for example)?
Best Regards.

Hi and welcome. I use MCT at Stowmarket for all my suspension needs. He is very very good, been going there for all my bikes going again in September to get this one done. Give him a call and am sure he will sort it for ya.
But have just noticed that you are not in the UK still it ain't that far :)

I'm 6'4"and 360lbs and my occasional pillion is 200-ish pounds. I still have stock OEM suspension and while I'm no scratcher I ride a decent pace. However I do have a weeping front fork seal but after 61k miles I'm not surprised.
