Anyone know how tight the tank bolts should be? Can't see it in the manual.

The fuel pump bolts are given as 9.8(nm) 1.0(kgf.m) 87 in·lb  - should I aim for roughly the same?

Just finished replacing the fuel pump strainer. Expect a guide later today. Took so many pics the camera battery has died so waiting on that to charge up.

Never bothered with torquing tank bolts as you should be able to tell if they come loose before it falls off, about 10nm should be fine :)

not a cricital enough component to need an accurate torque in my opinion, The only torque settings ive ever really used are inside engines , head bolts, nuts around bearings( wheels and headstock) and the such like.  For me I use torque settings to stop me Over tightening

If you break it off, it's too much..then don't do the others the same way..

Unless a different torque figure is specified, the general values are these in the workshop manual

Thanks for that. I'll put it in the useful info thread when I get on my main pc
