Hi All,
I see many variations and would like your thoughts on the best screen for my 11 plate.
I'm a 5' 11" heavy weight using the factory fitted screen and do suffer from a fair amount of buffeting when riding with the screen in various positions.

Any guidance on screen position or a more perfect screen for touring would be appreciated.

Very personal thing screens [ like seats]
I am 6'0" and have had success on  a couple of bikes with Laminar Lip or MRA vario type spoilers.

My GTR has the screen at highest position with a lip fitted

I have the following and I am 5'11 90kg :)
1) Original short for very hot days.
2) Original tall not used anymore.
3) CeeBaileys Utra Touring  max protection
4) MRA Xcreen use on mixed weather days still testing this one.

Good luck :)

I swapped the normal screen on my '10 for a CeeBaileys xl screen but after a few trips to Ireland, I've taken it off.
Its fine and keeps all the weather and buffeting off me but I dont like looking through a screen when its fully up and its tossing down which it seems to do a lot of in the emerald isle

Flip-up Tinted Tall Screen for me - see my thoughts on it here.

I've added the extra adjustable extension bit you get on the MRA Vario Screens so if I want to I can get right behind the screen like a Pan European, very quiet. Although, if I were on tour in the blistering heat I might put the stock touring or the MRA + extension on for more air flow.

Flowrider does look very tempting for the price - and they do it in a dark green tint to match my bike :)

Hi Deb's - I passed it on to another member on here as it didn't feel right. So I did my tour of Europe last year on the standard screen and still searching for what the perfect screen is. With my limited funds I'm happy to give the flowrider a go as not too much lost if that doesn't fit the bill either....

Had CeeBaileys, lovely screens, but in the end the Calsci suited me better

Does any body find that with the standard screen in the highest position, that you get a light feeling from the front end ,feels a bit unstable , also the. Still air. Behind you pushes you forward , ,,,,

Yes it felt like that to me when I first bought my bike a couple years ago. I bought a large extra wide calsci last year second hand. It gives great protection from the elements, stops almost all of the buffeting, and doesn't try to suck your face to the screen when fully up  :mfr_lol:

Depends on you body to leg ratio rather than your overall height :-)

I agree with Shaggs I have a calsci xl and great overall protection but when fully down there is still plenty of fresh air
