Thanks to all, great weekend and company. We enjoyed touring the Welsh country side, and thanks to Neil for putting the Frenchy in charge of leading the UK group, I only saw my Satnav, apparently scenery was nice too! We made it home ok and are looking forward to the next edition. Cheers Steph and Lizette

Zebedee

@frenchbiker that did make me laugh at the fact that the person who sorted and led the route was not from UK, we must do better next time. Thank you :)

Asif and I got back to west Yorkshire this afternoon about 3:30pm, came home the scenic route for the first half of the journey, Geoff would have been impressed with us both, no motorways at all!
Many thanks indeed to all those who attended, I was mightily impressed with Johan's journey, 2700 miles approx., absolutely awesome effort. Steph, great to see you once more and John thanks for coming over the water to see us all again. Some great characters, Zeb & that mad man Charlie. Nice to see everyone's unique bikes even the GS's.  :whistling:

Yeah great to meet everyone. Turns out I could have stayed Saturday night too and come back up today... wish I'd stayed, nevermind.

I'd be happy for another GTR forum meet-up before the end of the summer, something to consider???

Now there's a thought

Big thanks to you all for making both Cheryl and I feel part of the family. Especial thanks to Ant for delegating Doebag to navigate and lead . Doebag for a stress free lead and route, Zeb for tail end Charlie , Boomer for travelling miles out of his way to join us for brecky . To all of you let's do it again but may be sooner ?  :mfr_lol:

Charlie & Cheryl

PS Many thanks for the Quick Response Team this morning   No fuss or drama just direct action when it was needed

Bloody hell Steve, I may have had some of that if I had known.  I just assumed that you would be droning  :sleep1: :sleep1: :sleep1:    along following those big blue signs all day long.   :mfr_lol:
What would you rather be   or a wasp?

Stephen....another GTR meet up before the end of the Summer?? Do you know how long it takes to organise these things with us lot.  :mfr_lol:

Here's my collection of pics, to be honest after arriving and coming out of my room and seeing this I'm surprised I'm not in therapy!

Thankfully they're were no small children about at the time.  :mfr_lol:

After a late arrival at the Belfry due to an impromptu tour of Worcester care of Garmin & Andy we arrived and were pleased to see a great turn out of GTR's.

No beef lasagne,  :censored:  I love my lasagne! Managed to get some alternative grub and we all tucked in after the slight delay.

Our forum member Johan enjoying a cold beer, he should have got a medal for the distance he travelled to the venue.

Mr Stallibass, Steph, Lizette & Johan, (with another beer).  :whistling:

Our leader and founder of the forum, Asif chewing the fat with Ant and organising a deal whereby each 10th new member gets a set of free crash bars :whistling: . That idea certainly made Ant laugh.

A few clouds followed by a bit of thunder didn't do anything to deter us lot.

Or not al least until it really started raining and then it was time to take shelter in the smoking area where a couple, total strangers, asked for their photo taking.... ok, now what do I do with the photo?

However every cloud has a silver lining as they say, Asif, never one to miss an opportunity, fair pounced on this fair maiden and just to even the odds insisted he had his photo taken with her to which she duly obliged.

A right bunch of misfits on this one, no idea who any of them are...... :mfr_lol:

Mr Rossendale Rider, (Andy) certainly had the right idea, park the bike right outside his door.

The following morning, Saturday, the sun shone, it was set to be a good day. Unfortunately Nigel had to leave us (not because he came on a GS),  :whistling: work beckoned for him unfortunately.

Its a BMW moment........ :ohplease:

It'll soon be Scotland time Nigel.

Yours truly.

And the semi naked man, this time dressed, the management insisted as he was out front this time.

There's always someone who has to do the rabbit ears isn't there?  :mfr_lol:

Andy, John, me and Charlie.

A blast from the past....

Manny, the second person ever to join the forum and a mate turned up on Saturday morning after a camping trip presumably somewhere relatively close by.

Chaps, hopefully you'll drop in on the forum now from time to time and let us know what you're up to.

A few random shots, looks like Charlie has been up to mischief again.

Cant forget a photo of Boomer.

Doktordave, he really is a doctor you know ladies.... :whistling:

Can't not have a photo of our humble abode. Cheap & cheerful but absolutely spot on for the meet, many thanks Charles for suggesting the venue.

Colin getting ready for the group photo.

Last but not least the obligatory group photo, only a handful of GTR's as a fair number had gone wanting an early start but that couldn't be helped.

And with a few of the gang as we normally forget to do this.

A short video also of the local countryside.
