As of 2 minutes and 54 seconds ago I started looking left and right and will continue to do so for ever more!

That was so rapid and forceful that hopefully those that died, died instantly.

I always look both ways when going through lights , I witnessed a fatal accident once when someone jumped the lights and never lost that image

Not good, not good at all.

I will agree though I do check both ways at all junctions where they are traffic lights or just a road joining my road.

I see too many idiots on the road through my day to trust any of them to stick to any of the road laws, never mind look out for me too...

I check left right and mirrors constantly. You need 100% situational awareness when on a bike if you want to live. Safer in the car but even there you are not 100% safe. I have avoided being tailended and being hit by red light runners simply by being aware. Observation is paramount. It's when you relax that the morons get you.
